“Don’t Believe Your Eyes!”: Results, Insights, and Perspectives for Online Safety

On October 15, 2022, the “Don’t Believe Your Eyes!” campaign concluded with a hands-on forum featuring discussions, thematic workshops, and a concert in support of the mission for a safer digital space. The event brought together experts from the educational organization Ex Nihilo, actors from Ha-Ha-Ha Impro Theatre, and artists Jamie McDonald, Dé VYARA, VICK, and NIYA.
The program featured workshops on identifying fake news and understanding the mechanisms of disinformation, demonstrations of critical thinking, and discussions on the risks young people face online. Participants had the opportunity to visit thematic media literacy stations, as well as receive informational cards, stickers, and a special Guide for Personal Online Development.
The evening continued with an improv theatre performance and a concert dedicated to messages about online safety and responsible digital behavior.

The event was free to attend and was part of a project implemented with the financial support of the National Program for the Implementation of Youth Activities under Article 10a of the Gambling Act (Ministry of Youth and Sports), Contract No. 25-00-47 / 29.07.2022.
